At the beginning of an Event:
Sir! I will practice in the Spirit of Taekwondo,
with COURTESY for fellow students,
LOYALTY for my instructor,
and RESPECT for my juniors and seniors, Sir!
At the end of an Event:
Sir! I shall live with PERSEVERANCE
in the Spirit of Taekwondo,
having HONOR with others,
INTEGRITY within myself,
and SELF CONTROL in my actions, Sir!

Cha Ryot (chair ut) -- Attention
Kyung Nae (kin ya) -- Bow
Jhoon Bee (joon be) -- Ready Position
Si Jahk (see jack) -- Begin
Ko Mahn (ko mon) -- Stop
Bah Ro (ba row) -- Return to Ready Position
Shi ut (show) -- At Ease/Rest
